Privacy Notice

1. Local-first tools

Most tool data is processed directly in your browser. Your assessment answers, comments, registers, stakeholder lists, RAID logs, root-cause notes, and exported files are not stored in a ReadinessCompass database.

Some tools use your browser’s local storage so you can continue working later on the same device. You can delete this data by using the tool’s reset/clear function or by clearing your browser storage.

2. AI-generated reports

When you choose to generate an AI report, the data shown in the AI consent notice is sent to our backend proxy and forwarded to the configured AI provider for processing.

Do not enter confidential, sensitive, personal, regulated, or client-restricted information into the AI report function unless you are authorised to share it with an external AI service.

ReadinessCompass.com does not store the AI report on its server. The report is displayed in your browser and may be cached locally in your browser. However, data sent to the AI provider may be processed according to that provider’s own terms, security, and retention practices. ReadinessCompass.com is not responsible for information that you voluntarily submit to the AI provider through the AI function.

3. Readiness Review requests

If you submit a “Request Readiness Review” form, we collect only the information you choose to provide, such as:

• your work email;
• project or company name;
• your message;
• the AI report, if you choose to include it.

This information is used only to respond to your request. It is sent by email to ReadinessCompass.com and may be processed by our email delivery provider.

4. Website analytics and search visibility

We do not use behavioural advertising trackers.

We may use Google Search Console to understand how ReadinessCompass.com appears in Google Search, such as search queries, clicks, impressions, and indexed pages. This helps us improve website visibility and content quality.

5. Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and website performance. The service is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. and is implemented through a JavaScript analytics beacon loaded from https://static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js.

Cloudflare’s documentation states that Web Analytics uses browser performance APIs to collect timing metrics, is designed to collect a minimum amount of information, and does not track individual end users across Cloudflare customers’ Internet properties.

We use this information to understand how the website is used, identify technical problems, and improve website performance and usability. Cloudflare processes information in accordance with its own privacy documentation, including the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Web Analytics data origin and collection documentation.

6. Cookies

ReadinessCompass.com tools do not require tracking cookies to function. Browser local storage may be used to save your tool inputs locally on your device.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data.

Data may be processed by service providers only where needed to operate the website, AI report function, email delivery, security, hosting, or search visibility monitoring.

8. Your responsibility when using the tools

You are responsible for deciding what information you enter into the tools, AI report function, and review request form. Please avoid entering unnecessary personal data, confidential client data, employee names, sensitive business information, or regulated information.
